Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Albatron Technology ha annunciato la scheda grafica 9800GTX-512X. Pur non essendo dotata di due gpu, come nel caso della sorella maggiore ovvero della 9800GX2, la 9800GTX-512X ha dalla sua valori più elevati per le frequenze di clock di core, shader e RAM, oltreché la compatibilità con la tecnologia NVIDIA 3-way SLI.
La 9800GTX-512X è in realtà la scheda grafica con frequenze di clock più elevate dell'intera gamma di VGA Albatron: più in dettaglio, il core della gpu lavora a 675MHz, le unità di shader a 1688MHz e i chip di RAM a (2x)1100MHz.
La nuova arrivata viene presentata dal costruttore come la soluzione a gpu singola più veloce sul mercato; di certo è destinata a divenire la prima scelta degli utenti che vogliono acquistare una GeForce 9 di fascia alta, pur senza investire quanto richiesto per una 9800 GX2.
Albatron Technology has just announced its new enthusiast VGA, the 9800GTX-512X. This card is being released on the heels of its sibling dual-GPU 9800GX2 with all of the same high-performance NVIDIA features plus 3-way SLI capabilities. The 9800GTX-512X has one less GPU than its big brother (9800GX2) but it makes up for it with higher clock speeds and a trimmed down price.

These elite gaming numbers include a 675 MHz Core Clock, 1688 MHz Shader Clock and a 1100 MHz Memory Clock. In addition, this card comes with 512 MB of speedy GDDR3 memory with a 256-bit memory interface.
