BIOSTAR ha annunciato la sua implementazione della video card Radeon RX 6600 di AMD. Come già evidenziato dalle soluzioni analoghe provenienti da altri maker, anche in questo caso la Radeon RX 6600 è equipaggiata con 8GB di memoria video GDDR6, a cui la GPU è collegata attraverso un bus a 128-bit.
Dal punto di vista delle frequenze di clock supportate dalla GPU, che come sappiamo integra peraltro 28 Compute Unit e 1792 stream processor, la Radeon RX 6600 di BIOSTAR è pieamente allineata ai valori previsti dal design reference.
Più in dettaglio, questa card presenta una frequenza di clock con le applicazioni di gaming pari a 2.044MHz mentre il massimo valore ottenibile di tale grandezza, o Boost Clock, è pari a 2.491MHz.
La Radeon RX 6600 di BIOSTAR supporta naturalmente la tecnologia PCI Express 4.0, e include, in termini di connettori di output, una porta DisplayPort 1.4 con DSC e una porta HDMI 2.1 con Variable Refresh Rate (VRR).
