Con il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito, l'azienda danese Zepto ha reso noto di aver introdotto per i suoi clienti la possibilità di acquistare l'hard drive da 2.5" di tipo mobile più grande al mondo, avendo questo una capacità di 250Gb, nell'ambito della componentistica per l'equipaggiamento dei notebook da essa commercializzati.
La dotazione di un disco così ben dimensionato è, nelle intenzioni di Zepto, "finalizzata a favorire la transizione degli utenti business dal mondo dei computer desktop a quello dei notebook". Il nuovo hard drive è prodotto da Samsung.
Starting today, Zepto's customers are the first to enjoy the possibility to select a 250 GB mobile hard drive for their notebook. Zepto expects the launch of this new hard drive to attract more customers with extraordinary requirements for capacity and performance.
Once again, Zepto has succeeded in spearheading the newest technology for notebooks; this time a 250 GB 2.5" mobile hard drive from Samsung, which can be brought on Zepto's Websites as of today.
"Our effective 'built-to-order' concept means that our customers are time after time the first to experience the latest technology for notebooks. The time that passes from the launching of new technology to us offering it for our notebook range is often no more than a few days", explains Morten Kjærsgaard, Managing Director of Zepto Computers A/S.
Zepto expects that the launch of the new, high-capacity hard drives will inspire even more professional users to switch from desktop computers to notebooks.
"The recent development of new, high capacity hard drives and high-performance processors for the notebook market has facilitated a considerable growth of customers from the professional segment. The reason for this is that notebooks today can handle even the most demanding programs like Photoshop and Illustrator, and meet the demand for high-capacity storage", Morten continues.
