Amigamerlin has put on line at 3dfxzone IT board some frames of Call of Duty Dawnville, a fine OpenGL based first person shooter, using latest beta of Mesa 5.1 together his AM 3.0 XP driver and AMD 3000+ processor.

The game looks well at 1024x768x16 bit with 2x FSAA and number of frames for second is enough to get a good playing action. Better fps measurements are possible with 3dfx Voodoo5 6000 and Voodoo5 5500 AGP cards (but here the gain is very small in comparison with PCI version).
La qualità grafica è molto soddisfacente impostando l'antialiasing a pieno schermo con passo 2X ed è sufficiente anche la fluidità di gioco come si evince dal numero di fps che varia intorno al valore "30". Tale misurazione è destinata a fornire risultati numericamente superiori sia con la Voodoo5 6000 sia, anche se in misura ridotta, con la Voodoo5 5500 AGP.
