Problemi per la Intel con le motherboard i965. Non con il chipset bensì con le periferiche IDE.
Il problema è grosso: l'attuale versione del controller, la quinta per l'esattezza, non riesce ancora a far avviare i cd di installazione di Windows e Linux. Una barca nel deserto quindi, ma non finisce qui, perchè la Intel ha risolto utilizzando un lettore DVD Plextor SATA per installare un sistema operativo.

Intel is having problems with i965 motherboards. The problem, however, isn't with the chipset itself, that part is doing well enough, but related to IDE, or lack thereof.
The problem is that the current version of the controller, the fifth, still won't boot a Linux or Windows install CD. Oops. In the irony of all ironies, Intel has to resort to using the Plextor SATA DVD drive to install an OS.
