Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, EVGA ha lanciato l'alimentatore ad alte prestazioni siglato Classified SR-2, una soluzione prodotta da Antec e commercializzata con il brand EVGA, in grado di garantire all'utente una potenza massima in uscita pari a 1200W, simultaneamente alla certificazione 80Plus Silver, che attesta una efficienza della PSU almeno pari all'85%.
L'unità Classified SR-2 è consigliata da EVGA anche per la configurazione di motherboard dual-socket; inoltre, essa può vantare il supporto della tecnologia Advanced Hybrid Cable Management, che prevede l'adozione di un design sia tradizionale che modulare in merito alla gestione del cablaggio, e active PFC (Power Factor Correction).
La PSU, che assicura sei linee a 12V @ 38A ed include una ventola da 80mm, permette la regolazione sia della tensione in uscita che della velocità di rotazione del dissipatore. Il componente è naturalmente Quad SLI e Quad CrossFireX Ready; il suo MSRP è pari a $359.99.
