Patriot Memory ha annunciato la nuova linea di memorie RAM DDR3 per processori Intel Core i7 siglata Viper II Extreme Performance. Si tratta di kit di DIMM PC3-12800, PC3-14400, PC3-15000 e PC3-16000 a bassa latenza, ottimizzati per il funzionamento in triple-channel e disponibili in tagli da 3x2GB e 2x2GB.
In accordo al produttore, le nuove soluzioni sono pensate per i sistemi gaming-oriented di fascia alta, essendo in grado le nuove Viper II Extreme Performance di assicurare una ottima resa non soltanto dal punto di vista prestazionale ma anche da quello della stabilità, in virtà della dotazione di un sistema di raffreddamento realizzato con tecnologia proprietaria.
