Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Diamond Multimedia ha annunciato di recente la scheda grafica siglata 670PE31G. Si tratta di una video card basata sulla gpu ATI Radeon HD 4670 di AMD - prodotta in tecnologia a 55nm e dotata di 320 processori di stream - ed equipaggiata con 1GB di memoria RAM di tipo G-DDR3 (il valore reference è invece uguale a 512MB, ndr). La gpu della scheda lavora con una frequenza operativa pari a 750MHz mentre la RAM on board opera a 900MHz fisici e dunque 1800MHz effettivi.

Il produttore fa notare che la sua Radeon HD 4670 è dotata di supporto per la tecnologia multi-gpu ATI CrossFireX, che permette l'installazione di una topologia che può includere fino a 4 gpu, e per la Unified Video Decoder 2, che consente la decodifica del contenuto multimediale compresso con VC-1, H.264 e MPEG-2.

The 4600 series of cards boast up to 3 times the performance of the previous generation of GPUs.

The HD 4670 is a single slot card, PCIE 2.0, with 1024MB of DDR3 memory and a clock speed of 750 MHz. The memory speed is 900 MHz, designed with 320 stream processors.
