December 23, 2005 -- Taipei- -Info-Tek Corporation, the major supplier of the world’s leading graphics card brand GECUBE, today announced the launch of its new GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire high-level graphics cards. With the adoption of the latest ATI R520XT graphics core, the GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire graphics card featuring a 625HMz core clock speed yielding 1.5GHz memory clock speed and on-board 512MB GDDR3 memory. The built-in Compositing Engine makes the GECUBE the world’s best-performing graphics product.

GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire graphics cards (master cards) have a Compositing Engine hardware component built-in. Transmission of pure digital pixel data ensures first-rate graphics quality. All data transmission and image assembly are processed in real time, so there is no problem with delay when high-resolution gaming scenes are being displayed.

GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire products support AFR, SuperTiling, Scissor and quality-enhancing SuperAA Rendering mode. The CrossFire mode (up to 2048x1536@70+) provides enhanced display quality. With the original dual display cards, 12xMulti Sampling AA effect can be achieved, while with the addition of 2x Super Sampling AA mode, a maximum of 14x AA can be reached, providing a further enhancement of quality without any deterioration in performance.

GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire products offer unrivaled compatibility. With the master and slave cards using the same series of chips, the master and slave cards that consumers use can be different brands. Even if they use different core frequencies, BIOS, and graphics pipelines, the dual VPU feature can still be activated easily. In addition, GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire products’ powerful Compositing Engine hardware component not only improves dual display card mode display quality, but also achieves excellent quality without the need to activate the accelerated mode. The system maintains first-rate stability even when running high-level 3D games or platforms requiring high system performance.

With their advanced ultra-threaded core technology, GECUBE RADEON X1800 CrossFire products support all DirectX and OpenGL gaming software, making it possible to run 3D games at faster speeds. This technology also enhances audio-visual quality, enabling players to fully experience the magic of the games they play in a more efficient gaming environment.
